Kicking Off 2025 in Style: boxxe's Epic Sales Kick-Off Event

What better way to kick off a brand-new year than with an electrifying, high-energy event? This January, here at VSM Consultancy we had the absolute pleasure of fully planning and project managing boxxe's Kick-Off Event — and let’s just say, it was an unforgettable way to start 2025!
It all began with the perfect venue. We took over the incredible Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue, Hinckley Island, ready to transform its spaces into something extraordinary. With just over three months to plan, every detail mattered — from the first site visit to the final de-rig, our team worked tirelessly to bring boxxe’s vision to life.
As the delegates arrived, the excitement was palpable. We arranged 25 bedrooms for the first night for international delegates and those who needed to prep onsite, then we had 275 for the main night, ensuring everyone was well rested. Day one kicked off with a morning sales meeting — a mix of fireside chats and panel discussions — creating the perfect balance of inspiration and strategy.
After an energising networking lunch surrounded by an impressive exhibition featuring boxxe's key partners — including Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, Hitachi, HP and Mimecast — it was back to the main plenary. The day wrapped up with an uplifting awards ceremony celebrating boxxe's top achievers for 2024 — a true highlight, as success and recognition filled the room.
As the sun set, it was time for the real magic to unfold. Delegates checked into their rooms, preparing for an evening of celebration. The night began with an epic drinks reception in the hotel’s stunning Rotunda area — a scene set with Disco Heads, Mirror Men, and a dazzling LED Violinist. The hotel kept the drinks flowing and our good friends at F4D Events kept the canapés coming — the perfect warm-up for what was about to unfold.
Then came the show-stopper. Led by the Disco Heads and Mirror Men, all 400 delegates were guided down into the 'boxxe club' — a space we had completely transformed from the day’s meetings into a silver-infused nightclub. Picture this: a DJ on the decks, an LED dancefloor, a shimmering silver sequin wall, branded decor, lounge furniture, and of course, a buzzing bar. The atmosphere was electric.
But what's a party without incredible food? F4D Events created a silver-inspired buffet that was anything but ordinary. From pulled pork burgers and loaded fries to paella and an indulgent dessert station, the food reflected the event’s fun, informal vibe — with enough substance to keep everyone fuelled for the night ahead.
And just when you thought the night was over, the after-party kicked in. We had privately hired the Triumph Bar — an exclusive space within the hotel — where the most dedicated partygoers danced, networked, and celebrated until 3am. It was one of those events where the best business connections were made on the dancefloor.
This was our third year working on boxxe’s Kick-Off Event and our second year fully planning it, and having worked with them since their Summer Party in York in 2018, we’ve loved being part of their journey. Watching them grow and celebrating their successes year after year is a privilege — and we’re already deep into planning their 2026 KO Event and some incredible incentives.
